The 2008 European Championship will be held jointly in Austria and Switzerland from 7 to 29 June 2008 and the host countries qualified without having to go through the qualification competition. The remaining 50 countries were divided into 1 group of 8 teams and 6 groups of 7 teams each, with the winners and runner-ups of each group qualifying automatically to the finals. The draw for the qualification competition took place in Montreux, Switzerland on 27 January 2006 and the full schedule with results and league tables draw can be found on these pages by following the links below.
