European Championship 2004 |

The 2004 European Championship was held in Portugal from 12 June to 4 July 2004 and the host country qualified without having to go through the qualification competition. The remaining 50 countries were divided into 10 groups of 5 teams each, with the winners of each group qualifying automatically and the runners-up playing in a play-off competition on a home and away basis to determine which five remaining teams would also travel to the finals. The draw for the qualification competition took place in Porto on 25 January 2002 and the full draw can be found on these pages by following the links below.
